DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY Mike McNamee, Instructor; $26; 6.5 hours, Saturday October 16, 9am to 1 pm; Lost Creek State Park (carpooling available) and Wednesday October 20, 6:30-9pm; Kohrs Library. Learn more about your digital camera functions to include scenic, portrait, close-ups, shutter speeds and depth of field adjustments. Bring a tripod and polarizing filter if you have one and your camera’s manual. Alternate location will be determined if weather is bad. Limit 15

BEGINNING BRIDGE Georgia Briggeman, Instructor; $36; 12 hours, Wednesdays beginning October 27, 1-3 pm; ­­­­­­­­­­­Kohrs Library; Class will introduce the fundamentals of the game in a relaxed environment. Taught by recognized local expert. Students must bring their own deck of cards. Limit 12.

HEALTHY ASIAN FOOD AT HOME Elvie Wells, Instructor; $18 plus $14 supply cost; 6 hours, Thursdays beginning October 28, 6-8 pm; 222 N Main St. Learn how to prepare and cook Asian food at home. Egg rolls, spring rolls, fried rice and stir fry vegetables with rice noodles. Limit 12.

PARENT & TOT SWIM CLASS Becky White, Instructor; $12; 4 hours, Fridays beginning October 29, 5-6 pm; CPC Pool. Parents with an infant to 3 year old will learn basic water skills. Are you having trouble making the ends meet every month with your finances or you need help with budgeting? Learn the basics of cash flow and where your cash go every month.

DEBT PAYOFF Mike Blakeley, Instructor; $6; 2 hours, Thursday, November 11, 6-8 pm; Kohrs Library; Are you struggling with growing debt and looking for a way out and don’t want to file bankruptcy? Learn approaches to debt payoff and how to get your finances back on track.

CPR AND BASIC FIRST AID Paul Chapman, Instructor; $­­­­­9 (additional $15 for Red Cross certification card); Monday, November 15, 6-9 pm; Powell County Community Center. Learn the basics of CPR and the skills needed to perform one person CPR using mannequins. First Aid class will include splinting, bleeding and how to deal with emergencies. Limit 10.

Adult Education is a program for the enrichment and enjoyment of adults in this and surrounding communities. Class sizes are limited. Pre‑registration for these classes is required at the Kohrs Memorial Library. Class will be canceled if minimum pre-registration is not received.
